Hi! I’m Vernon. Welcome to my website. It’s a pleasure having you here.
I’m a Freelance Technical Writer based in Kingston, Jamaica. I specialize in producing documentation for software products, including mobile and SaaS applications.
For more than seven years, I’ve produced internal and customer-facing documentation for several software companies and tech blogs.
My clients have included companies such as Oniqua (acquired by IBM in 2019), Hevo, Skyvia, and Upwork, among others.
Before my technical writing career, I worked in the IT sector in roles ranging from Help Desk Team Lead and Customer Support Trainer to Systems Administrator and IT Manager.
I have a BA in Computer Science and am pursuing an MSc in Computer-based Management Information Systems at the Mona School of Business and Management.
Fun Fact: I was also a musician once upon a time, having played rhythm guitar in an alt-rock band. Yes, an alt-rock band. In Jamaica. Yes, you read that correctly. 🙂
